NOW IN PRIVATE PILOT

She forgets.
Ella remembers.

The word she can't find. The thing she walked into the room for. The conversation she just had. Ella is an AI companion that helps — gently, in the moment, through a whisper in her ear.

Palo Alto, California

HOW IT WORKS

Three simple pieces.
Nothing new to learn.

01

Wear the Necklace

A lightweight pendant that listens naturally throughout the day. One button. All-day battery. Nothing to learn.

02

Ella Remembers Everything

Every conversation, every name, every preference. Ella builds a living memory — so when your loved one forgets, Ella doesn't.

03

Ella Helps in the Moment

She walked into the kitchen and forgot why. Ella whispers: "You were looking for the scissors." The right help, at the right time, without anyone having to ask.

THE SYSTEM

She hears through
the necklace. She speaks
through the whisper.

No screens to learn. No apps to open. Ella shows up in the moments that matter.

THE WHISPER HEADSETThe word she can't find. Ella can.

She's mid-sentence and loses a name, a place, a word. Ella whispers it. Open-ear design means she hears the world and Ella at the same time — like a thought she almost had, arriving just in time.

THE NECKLACEHears everything, judges nothing

A discreet pendant worn around the neck. It picks up conversations, self-talk, even the confused muttering when she walks into a room and forgets why. This is how Ella knows what to help with. Works with a range of compatible Bluetooth wearables.

FAMILIAR CHANNELSNo app required

Ella also reaches your loved one through iMessage, email, or a regular phone call. Families get summaries and alerts wherever they already are.

The Ella app is available for those who want it — but it's never required.

FOR FAMILIES

She stays independent.
You stay informed.

Ella helps your parent in real-time — and keeps you in the loop without compromising their dignity.

Real-Time Cognitive Support

Ella helps with word-finding, reorientation, and gentle conversation recovery — so your parent feels capable, not confused.

Smart Alerts That Adapt

Ella notices when something feels off in conversation — rising frustration, unusual confusion, the same question asked again and again. She doesn't just watch a fixed list; she learns your loved one's patterns and pays closer attention when something seems different, like an attentive family member who picks up on the little things.

Daily Summaries

A morning update on how your parent's day went. How many times Ella helped, what they talked about, how they seemed.

Privacy-First

You see summaries and insights. Never raw conversations. Your parent's dignity is never compromised.

Ambient, not demanding.
Private, not surveilling.
Proactive, not reactive.

MEMORY THAT GROWS

She forgets. Ella doesn't.

Every conversation — even the ones she has with herself — makes Ella smarter. When she's confused, searching for a word, or repeating a question, Ella already has the answer.

Conversations, self-talk, the confused pause

Understand

What she meant, not just what she said

Names, plans, what just happened

Help

The right word, at the right moment

She forgot why she walked into the room
Ella whispers:

You were going to get the scissors from the kitchen drawer.

She lost a word mid-conversation
Ella whispers:

The movie you’re thinking of is Casablanca.

She forgot a conversation with her husband
Ella whispers:

You and David decided on dinner Tuesday at 6. He’s making the reservation.

COMMON QUESTIONS

You asked.
We answered.

We know you're trusting us with someone you love.
Here's what families ask most.

Ella listens throughout the day and builds a real-time understanding of conversations, names, plans, and context. When your loved one forgets a word, can't remember why they walked into a room, or repeats a question they just asked — Ella can whisper the answer through the headset. It's like having a gentle, infinitely patient companion who always remembers.

While the pendant is worn and on, Ella listens and turns what she hears into memory — names, plans, context. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely in your family's own private space so Ella's memory stays accurate, and you can delete any of it, or all of it, at any time. Family members never receive raw audio or full transcripts — only summaries and alerts.

Ella's job is helping your loved one — not profiling guests. During onboarding we provide simple notice materials so household members and regular visitors know Ella may be listening, as California law requires. And for a private conversation, the pendant can simply be taken off or powered down.

It's actually a feature. Self-talk is one of Ella's most valuable signals. When your parent mutters "where did I put the..." or "what was I doing?", Ella hears the confusion and can help. The moments when someone talks to themselves are often exactly when they need support most.

No. There's no app to open, no screen to navigate, no buttons to press. Your parent wears the pendant, puts on the headset, and lives their day. Ella speaks when she can help — your parent doesn't need to do anything differently.

Ella's AI is designed to distinguish between real conversation and background media. Unlike simple transcription devices, Ella uses contextual understanding to filter out TV shows, podcasts, and music — so your loved one's memory stays accurate.

Ella is not an emergency-response system or a medical device, and she shouldn't be relied on as one — in an emergency, always call 911. What Ella can do is notice concerning patterns in conversation, like a call for help or repeated confusion, and notify your designated caregiver according to your family's preferences. Think of her as an extra set of caring ears — not a safety system.

Ella doesn't just listen for keywords like "help" or "I fell." She understands context. If your mom asks what day it is, that's normal. If she asks again five minutes later, and then forgets whether she ate — Ella recognizes that pattern and adjusts what she watches for. She gets more attentive when it matters, and steps back when everything is fine.

Only the family members you designate. You receive daily summaries and smart alerts — never raw transcripts. Your parent's dignity and privacy are never compromised.

Yes. After the free pilot period, the subscription is month-to-month with no contract. The hardware is yours to keep regardless.

Ella is designed to work with a range of Bluetooth-enabled companion pendants and wearables — not just one specific device. If your loved one already uses a compatible wearable, Ella can work with it. We'll help you figure out the best setup during onboarding.

No. Ella is a personal companion and cognitive support tool, not a medical device. She doesn't diagnose or treat conditions. She helps your loved one navigate daily life with more confidence — and helps you worry less.
